space

Yes to space to be yourself. Yes!
And what is weird and alien, really? At the bottom of things? Where it matters, I mean?
I think it's all about - how much space you let yourself take up. I know I could take up more space. Should, even, in some situations. Stand up. Be counted.

How about you? Are you filling all the space you really need, to be you?

  1. so true, so true, Yvonne. Sometimes it´s all about making space, creating distance to breathe and get another point of view. Another beautiful and poetic painting of yours, love it (-; ..the feminine touch of the window decoration is just the icing on the cake!!!

  2. Isn't it funny how we each take what we need from the same words? This was just the 'kick in the pants' I needed right now. Thanks, Yvonne! Great painting!

  7. Gosh Yvonne that's really made me think, I feel like since the cc course I've allowed myself a bit more space to do the things that make me, well....me. It was like I needed permission first. Thanks Yvonne - you are so insightful.x

  8. I have been thinking I need a space at home to do my pottery. I thought about building a special building just for it which I would like to do but I love my grass and feel that is too much to have two studios. But I have our old kitchen with it's lovely stone benches and a sink so I am going to take over that space and make it, or part of it a space of me to make clay thingies. Yes we do need to make more physical space and time space for just us. Even if it looks alien to others.
