This morning, I finished number 1 in Red Parka Diaries' drawing challenge: draw what's on the desk in front of you. I suppose I could have drawn what was in front of me before I actively put something there that I wanted to draw, but since I made this challenge about drawing, whatever the excuse, I'm okay with bending the rules. I drew, didn't I? ;)
Here's what I did for number 2 and number 9, and I'm working on number 7, my morning coffee - almost as we speak :)

ReplyDeleteI love this, it's absolutely gorgeous! My mum has a bird of paradise plant in her yard and we always grew up with these in the house so I love this amazing flower. You did a wonderful job of this drawing. I like your words too :) I'm doing the challenge too but haven't blogged about it yet. Maybe next week...
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful drawing/painting of your Bird of Paradise! wow I love it!I am not really doing too many things these days except working the ugly day job, heh heh:) oh well it keeps me stocked with paper and paints, doesn't it? I was doing quite a bit of swapping with ATCs and zines on swap-bot but I got in over my head and pulled out of some swaps. I want to do so much but there is only so many hours in a day. I have to choose wisely. I think I am going to try a post card challenge for next month. But haven't decided.
